Before you buy more traffic, find out where it leaks
A store with thin profit usually has one of two problems: the orders do not make money, or the visitors never become orders. They demand opposite responses, and only one of them is fixed by spending more on ads.
The funnel, in four numbers
Seeing all four together tells you which stage is the problem. A healthy add-to-cart rate with a collapse between cart and checkout is not a traffic problem or a product problem — it is shipping cost, form friction, or payment options, and no amount of ad spend fixes it.
Alongside the funnel: a daily trend, so a drop is dated rather than vague, and traffic grouped by source, so you can see what is actually bringing people in.
Per-product views and conversion do not exist in Shopify's API, and we will not pretend otherwise. The analytics dataset carries no product dimension — this was probed directly against two API versions. Store-level funnel figures are real and are what you get. Any tool showing you per-product conversion for a Shopify storefront is computing it from something else, and it is worth asking what.
Which products deserve the next rupee
What Kaarobar can rank per product is what it measures itself: contribution after returns, RTO rate, and days of stock cover. That is the honest basis for deciding what to restock and what to push — see products and margins.

- Does this work on the Shopify Basic plan?
- Yes. The storefront analytics are gated by access scope, not by plan — the Shopify documentation is explicit that the requirement is the reports scope. If figures are unavailable, the app tells you which of the two possible causes it is rather than guessing.
- Is this a replacement for Google Analytics?
- No. It is the four numbers that sit next to your profit figures, so a margin problem and a conversion problem can be told apart in one place. Deep behavioural analysis belongs in an analytics tool.
