Book the parcel where the order already lives
The standard Pakistani workflow is to read an order in Shopify and type it into a courier portal. It is slow, it is where the wrong address comes from, and it means the order and the parcel are two records that only a human knows are the same thing.
From order to consignment note
- Book in bulk. Select the day's orders and push them to the courier in one action. The consignment number comes back onto the order, which is what makes tracking and later reconciliation automatic.
- Print the CN and the loadsheet. The documents the rider expects, generated from the same data, ready to hand over at pickup.
- Track without switching tabs. Status flows back onto the order and into the in-transit, delivered, returned and cancelled views.
- Write status back to Shopify. Delivery and payment status are synced back, so the store and the ledger agree.
Booking rules
Which courier should carry this parcel is a decision with a right answer that changes by city, by weight and by value. Booking rules let you state that answer once — this city goes to that courier, this value band goes to the other — instead of re-making the decision per order at eight in the evening.
Courier scorecard
Rules are only as good as the evidence behind them. Kaarobar scores each courier on the numbers that actually cost money — delivery rate, RTO rate, days to settle — computed from your own parcels rather than the courier's marketing. If one courier delivers materially better in a region, you will see it before you feel it.
A caution about comparing couriers on your own data. Delivery rates only compare fairly across couriers carrying similar work. A courier that only ever gets your difficult cities will look worse than it is, and the scorecard shows the volume behind each rate so a number built on eleven parcels is visibly a number built on eleven parcels.
